Berkshire sands work closely with Wexham Park Hospital to ensure all families get appropriate and equal care when experiencing the loss of their much wanted baby/babies.

Through our dedicated work we have enabled families to be able to use a home from home bereavement suite when in hospital and to provide keepsake memory boxes suitable to their culture and  support information in their chosen language.

 

We also work closely with the specialist bereavement midwife to provide regular training sessions for the maternity team, which include information on Sands, parent speaker and a question and answer session for midwives.

Every year Wexham Park also hold a special baby remembrance service in the chapel, which we support by providing refreshments and helping to support families on the day if needed
