Formed in August 2012 by a group of bereaved parents, Berkshire Sands have grown from support groups through phone, email and groups to know hosting a range of support and events to anyone affected by the death of a baby.

 

Berkshire Sands now has specially trained befrienders offering different kinds of support from our main Support group to  pregnancy after loss support and memorial services.

Over the years Berkshire Sands has worked closely with both national sands and our local hospital to improve bereavement care and improve support given, Wexham park hospital now offers very family a keepsake memory box, support books in different languages for every family.

 

In 2019 specialised home from home bereavement suite was created for families to spend time together with their babies and make them ever lasting memories. and to try and make this tragic experience, a little easier.
