Welcome to Berkshire Sands

We are local support group covering the Berkshire area. we are run by a group of volunteers who have all experienced or been affected by a loss of a baby. Together we support local families and parents who have also suffered the heart breaking loss. We hope we can help you find strength with your journey ahead.

Support

We are here to support you, whatever your circumstances. We offer support by phone, email, messenger and run support groups.

Our main support group is usually held on the last Tuesday of every month in Windsor, Berkshire. our rainbow (pregnancy after loss) group is held on the 2nd Friday of each month.

All our support services are run by a team of trained volunteers, who have also been affected by baby loss. We aim to respond within 24-48 hours. If you feel you need immediate support please contact national sands helpline on 0808 164 3332 or helpline@sands.org.uk

Latest Information

Support Groups

We are now able to return to running face to face support groups with Covid guidelines in place and are in constant communication with Head office to review these.

There is a maximum capacity of 15 people per group (not including befrienders) and the room will be set out with 2m between people. It is personal choice, if you want to wear a face mask. We will also be providing anti bac wipes, hand sanitiser and taking contact details for track and trace. please contact us if you have any queries, regarding this.
